Early Perfection™ Mix Cineraria contains tender perennials (Zones 9-11), usually grown as annuals or as short-lived houseplants. In the garden, the daisy flowers bloom spring to summer. Popular cut flowers, the cheery, long-lasting blooms are flamboyant shades of blue, pink, purple, red, and rose, with some having bright yellow centers. The plants' compact, upright, mounding habit is perfect for small pots and window boxes.
Early Perfection™ Mix Cineraria grows best in locations with dappled sunlight or partial shade and rich, evenly moist, well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH of 5.5 to 6. The plants prefer high humidity and cool temperatures between 50° and 65°F. They do not tolerate heat and typically stop flowering when temperatures reach 80°F and above. Frequent light feeding and consistent watering will result in the best blooms, but the soil should never be left soggy, which can cause root rot. Deadheading regularly encourages and prolongs flowering and discourages unwanted self-seeding.
