It's the most dazzling parrot yet! 'Frozen Night's' is a gloriously dark flower, beginning deep burgundy-red at the base and ending in a charcoal wash of frilly, twisty petal tips. A full 5 inches wide, these blooms are show-stopping, and will become the focal point of any garden display or indoor arrangement. You've got to grow 'Frozen Night's'!

Like all parrots, 'Frozen Night's' blooms toward the end of the tulip season, in mid- or late spring. It reaches just 12 to 18 inches high -- a bit on the short side, which makes it ideal for containers on the patio and deck. Use it as a foreground planting to taller varieties in the sunny border or annual bed, then pop a couple of these bulbs into flowerpots for up-close enjoyment. Color and shape like this are just too hard to find!

'Frozen Night's' gradually unfurls as it opens, but instead of becoming symmetrical and uniform, it keeps its asymmetrical, twisty look even when fully extended. You will love how its bloom shape changes almost daily during its long season of beauty!

Like all tulips, 'Frozen Night's' does best in light, sandy, well-drained soil in full sun everywhere but the deep south and the west, where it enjoys dappled or partial shade during the hottest times of the day. It will be probably annual south of zone 7, but everywhere else will return for several years of beauty.

Plant this bulb deeply and prepare for a display of petal power the likes of which you've never seen! 'Frozen Night's' is out to wow your landscape! Zones 3-7. Pack of 10.
