Old-fashioned Flavor + Modern Vigor!

This beefsteak sets 11- to 12-ounce tomatoes of gold to lime green.

75 days from setting out transplants. Indeterminate.

Combine the rich flavor and strong fragrance of heirloom tomatoes with the unusual look of slightly flattened fruit and gold to green skins. What do you get? Heirloom Green Hybrid Tomato, of course! You'll love this distinctive beefsteak, which is heavy producer of 11- to 12-ounce fruits all season long.

Heirloom Green Hybrid offers the perfect blend of sugars and acids, creating a bite that is tangy, meaty, and sweet. The fruit is wide and flattish, making it even easier into big, luscious slices for sandwiches. It begins lime green, then turns deep yellow to golden at full maturity. You'll be able to smell it before you see it -- a mouthwatering expereince every time!

This indeterminate (meaning that the vines keep growing taller and bearing more fruit all season long) plant is very easy to grow, too. The seeds have an exceptionally high germination rate, so even if you've never tried growing tomatoes from seed before, Heirloom Green Hybrid won't let you down!

Start seeds indoors 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost date. Transplant into the garden spaced 2 to 2 1/2 feet apart. This colorful, delicious beefsteak was mentioned by the Daily Press in February 2014, echoing our claim that this flavorful heirloom produces "the world's greatest fried green tomatoes."

Looking for something different for 2016 season, I found these seeds on sale at Parks so decided to give them a try. I was happy with the production and the flavor of these tomatoes were outstanding. I am planting more of these in 2017

Grew from seed for our 2015 garden. It was a near perfect growing season. All of the tomatoes we grew were amazing. However, these were the most prolific plant and heaviest producer. Tomatoes were beautiful, juicy, with a spectacular tomato flavor that had added tang. I used these in place of tomatillos for enchiladas Verde. Canned jars of sauce to use for this purpose. Much easier to grow than tomatillo. Delicious on sandwiches. Will plant every year.
