A unique heuchera, Heuchera 'Frilly' has attractive ruffled foliage with caramel colored tops and mauve bottoms. Depending on light exposure, the leaves range in shades of caramel, bronze, gold, yellow, mauve, rose. Small, bell-shaped, pale pink flowers sit high above the foliage on long, feathery, bright mauve stems. They attract hummingbirds to the garden and are sweet additions to cut bouquets.
The habit is sturdy, dense, and compact. Best grouped or massed, Heuchera 'Frilly' makes nice edging or borders for beds and walkways. But it's also a great container plant and works well in a shade garden.
