Lilac

Abundant Clusters of Gorgeous, Fragrant Blooms!

Syringa (Lilac) is most notable for its delicious fragrance. This flowering shrub (or tree, as some can grow up to 30 feet tall!) also boasts wonderfully architectural branches and panicles of dainty, fragrant flowers. Typically opening in Spring, these blooms take on lovely shades of blue, purple, and off-white. Syringas have long been an important part of landscaping due to their hardy nature, ease of care, long flowering period, bright color, and intoxicating aroma.
