Every daffodil garden needs a showstopper, and what better choice than this magnificent Irish introduction, winner of England's top honor for plants? The flowers are large, softly colored, and very long-lasting, with a subtle sweet fragrance. Make 'Mallee' the focal point of your early spring bulb garden for years to come!

This is a Division 11a daffodil, a Split-cupped Collar. The perianth is white, while the iterior cup is divided into ruffled segments and colored pastel shades of yellow and pink. Such a color blend is hard to find in the daffodil family, especially on flowers that reach 3 to 4 inches wide. Stunning!

Like all daffodils, 'Mallee' will naturalize over time if it is happy in its garden position. How lovely to think of great drifts of this Award of Garden Merit winner! The blooms appear on stems 10 to 18 inches high, perfect for cutting or garden enjoyment.

'Mallee' comes to us from Irish breeder Brian S. Duncan, who crossed 'Movie Star' x 'Last Chance' to achieve this winner. Truly a unique variety in the vast array of daffodils available for American gardeners, it is something special you won't want to miss. Zones 3-8.
