Description

Farewell, Powdery Mildew

Monarda Balmy Rose is a fragrantly floriferous and well-branched variety of bee balm that has superb resistance to powdery mildew.

Full size flowers sit on ultra compact plants measuring 3 inches wide. The blooms are a brilliant pink and much loved by bee and butterflies, as well as hummingbirds. Monarda Balmy Rose is a perfect addition to gardens looking to attract these beautiful creatures. The flowers will look just as good in August as they did in June

Monarda Balmy Rose begins blooming in midsummer, continuing through the remainder of the season. The foliage remains a healthy and vibrant dark green color, and plants grow 10 to 12 inches high. Unlike previous cultivars, this variety is resistant to many of the pests and problems which are the bane of its predecessors.

Monarda Balmy Rose is incredibly easy to plant and is your must have for a shady to partially shaded perennial garden. It is fragrant and easy to grow in moist, yet well drained soil.
