Easy Gaillardia to Grow From Seed
P.Donald, Bartow, FL from FL wrote on September 23, 2019
First time I tried Gaillardia. Planted in 6-packs, germinated within 2 weeks. Set out in April and they bloomed a good 2 months, zone 9b Tampa until late June. Very heavy bloomer, no fertilization was needed even in sandy soil. No one had seen these before here, Painter's Palette are unique. Note: they do flop over so crowd them together about 12" apart and allow them to grow into a mass planting. Colors were as shown in picture and more.

Blooms First Year

I did start these indoors around March. They are now outside and blooming. The colors are great and I will definitely purchase more for next year to fill some areas usually reserved for annuals.

Second time I have ordered in the past two or three weeks. Very nice people. Have ordered from them in the past and will order again in the future.
