Lives up to name!!

I have grown several types of Lavender and the plant rarely makes it past it's second year. Our hot, very humid North Mississippi summers take toll on it. It certainly didn't deter me from trying!! I planted 2 Phenomenal Lavender at my bee yard in a log inspired flower bed and 2 at my driveway by giant rocks. The driveway gets plenty of attention and the plant has tripled in size. The bee yard does not get that much attention, is planted in dry-ish sandy soil on side of hill and has still grown twice its original size. Both produced beautiful blooms held high from plant.Neither lost a beat during winter staying blue-green. I won't waste time in trying another type. If a plant is going to make it at my house it better be self sustaining after its first year. This is the Lavender to go with in Holly Springs, MS if you have hands off approach to flowers but still want WOW factor.
