Red Ace Hybrid Beet Seeds

Ready to eat a week earlier than others

Days to Maturity: 53

Maturing a week sooner than others, Red Ace pushes its shoulders up through the soil, ready to harvest! This is THE name in beets, and it's easy to see why. Not only are the vigorous plants early to produce, but they are very widely adaptable, giving you big yields even in climates that other varieties find stressful.

And such beets these are! The globes are smooth and rounded, with a deep scarlet cast and clearly-marked concentric rings. The flavor is smooth, tender, and sweet.

Red Ace is a reliable and versatile performer. Try this classic and experience the finest in home-garden beets.

Beet is a cool-weather crop, direct-sown in fall or as soon as soil can be worked in spring. Before planting, make sure that the soil is as loose, rich, and well-drained as possible, so that the root can grow without stress.

Great Producer

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

These seeds have produced beautifully. Sewn in zone 7 on 4/16/12 and harvested on 6/5/12 (50 days) - very high germination rate. Beets are very flavorful!
