Description

Tolerant of Fusarium races 1 and 2 as well as anthracnose

Days to Maturity: 87 from direct sow

The first true Allsweet hybrid, Sangria is simply the best-tasting watermelon you will ever eat. The dark red flesh is packed with sugars for an incredibly delicious bite, fresh or chilled. Grow the gourmet variety you'd pay top dollar for at the fresh market with scrumptious Sangria.

This oblong, striped melon reaches about 20 to 24 pounds, but that won't even be enough once you taste the supersweet flavor. Sangria is a watermelon lover's dream, each slice more succulent and sweet than the one before it. Luckily, with this vigorous, disease resistant plant, you'll have plenty of melons to sample.

Tolerant of Fusarium races 1 and 2 as well as anthracnose, this plant grows quickly and is very strong. Once the melons start appearing, place a bit of straw beneath them to minimize their contact with the damp ground, and just wait for them to mature. You are in for an unparalleled treat.

Old seeds

This shopper rated the product 1 out of 5 stars

Not a good buy. ALL the seeds sent in the package 100% did NOT germinate. It was not the mix used or any other factors, because water melon seeds purchased at Home Depot and in the same medium at the same time at the same location ALL germinated.

Production top notch

I direct sowed 50 seeds, only 17 came up, but off the 17 plants I picked 153 watermelons that averaged 24 pounds.

Great watermelon

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I've grown Sangia for the past couple of years and love it. I only give these melons away to special friends, but whenever I do, I get compliment after compliment. They are so good!
