Appearance and Use:
A blue-colored grass with a multitude of applications: color accent in the
border, rock garden, and in container compilations, it is also striking when used in groups and
masses as a ground cover. Blue Fescue forms a tufted mound of blue-green foliage. Plants grow 12
inches high by 10 inches wide, the narrow, linear leaves are 3 to 8 inches long, ribbed, and roll
inwards. The blue-green flowers appear in early to mid-summer in 4-inch-long panicles
