This indeterminate early tomato produces clusters of 4 oz fruits in under 60 days! Deep reddish black tomatoes are the perfect blend of sweet and acid flavor. Plants are disease resistant. Black tomatoes are known for having excellent taste and thrive in southern states with hot summers! They taste just as good in the north but have a slightly paler color. The color changes because of the fruit sugars that turn the flesh and skin different colors like chestnut, deep purple, bronze, and mahogany!

Tomatoes grow well with asparagus, parsley, and brassicas. It is best to grow indeterminate plants with extra tall supports. They also have many shoots that may need pruning.

The indeterminate plants are very heavy-bearing and vigorous, with great resistance to Verticillium Wilt, Fusarium Wilt Races 1 and 2. Cage or stake them to support their bounty over their long season; they will just keep growing and setting new fruits all summer long!

Start seeds indoors 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost date. Plant outdoors when danger of frost is past and night temperatures consistently remain above 55 degrees F. If an unexpected late frost is forecasted, protect young plants with plastic sheeting or other cover. Set plants 2 to 2½ feet apart.
