The smallest Haskap (Yezberry®) yet, Sugar Pie™ is a mounded, dense shrub reaching no more than 3 to 4 feet high and wide. You can grow it anywhere you have a patch of sunshine. Yet it's so productive, it will bring you basketfuls of nutritious blue berries every summer!

Boasting more antioxidants, potassium, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C than other comparable fruits, Sugar Pie™ berries are oblong, blue, and super sweet. They arise late in the season -- early to midsummer in most climates -- and they are irresistible straight off the plant, as well as in pies, jams, jellies, and other treats.

And berries are just one of this honeysuckle's charms. In early spring, trumpet-shaped yellow flowers appear by the hundred, attracting the first bees and butterflies of the season. You will love the blanket of lemon-yellow Sugar Pie™ displays!

For heaviest flowering and fruiting, plant Sugar Pie™ within about 25 feet of at least one other fruiting Honeysuckle. Deer-resistant, this shrub is a good choice for the border, as well as the foundation, woodland garden, and even large containers on the patio or deck. Give it well-drained soil, good food and water the first season or two, and watch it take off! Zones 3-7.
