Made with tough, heavy-duty, BPA-free, food-safe plastic, the trays remain sturdy during transport, holding the 2.5" Seed Starter Pots tightly in placeno more tipped over, spilled pots when moving them from one location to another. Cells are a bit wider on the top and slightly taper to the bottom. The drainage holes are large enough to allow roots to grow through the bottom of the cell tray if desired but small enough to hold moistened vermiculite in place. The Seed Starter Trays can be used with Microgreen 1020 Trays for bottom watering and then topped with the 1020 Humidity Dome for improved germination. Seed Starter Trays are perfect for holding pots of vegetables, herbs, flowers, small plants, and germinating seedlings in soil or hydroponics for hobby or commercial growers.
Easy to clean for reuse, Seed Starter Trays can be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack, but be sure NOT to use the heating elementjust let them air dry.
