Unlike flimsy one-use box-store plug trays, these Bootstrap Farmer plug trays are built for years of use. They are made of food safe, BPA free, FDA prime grade extra-thick #5 polypropylene plastic and are designed with Air Prune technology that incorporates air channels on each side, which prevent root circling and produce healthier more vigorous plants. They also have additional flex for better impact resistance and an extra-large
drainage hole for easier seedling removal. The Plug Tray 6 Cell Inserts work with the 1020 Grow Trays (with or without holes) and the 1020 Humidity Dome to make growing and bottom watering a breeze. Plug trays are perfect for fodder and fodder systems as well as for germinating seedlings in soil or hydroponics for hobby or commercial growers. The Plug Tray 6 Cell Inserts are easy to clean for reuse. Just wash them in hot soapy water and air dry. For further disinfecting, they can be dipped into vinegar, 3% hydrogen peroxide, or a mild bleach solution.
